Every year, UAE airports see long lines at airline check-in counters as families prepare for their two-month summer holidays.

According to Khaleej Times “The airline is expecting to fly 2.6 million passengers from Dubai International Airport (DXB) during the peak travel rush period. The busiest day at the airport is expected to be on Saturday July 6.”

According to them, travelers can skip the queues in several ways.

Passengers have several choices for avoiding lineups. The most common method is to check in via the app or online, which is used by nearly half of passengers and is available 48 hours before departure.

They can also drop off luggage at the airport for free the day before departure. For passengers flying from Dubai, early check-in and bag drop are available 24 hours before departure (12 hours for US flights).

Luggage drop is accessible at the airline’s city check-in in DIFC between 24 and 4 hours before departure.

In addition, the Ajman Central Bus Terminal offers 24-hour city check-in service. Another alternative is home check-in, which allows agents to finish the process at the customer’s location and is free for first class passengers and Platinum Skywards members, allowing them to arrive later with only hand luggage.
