Flights that eligible for refunds using this app will have Price Guarantee badges on them. Google has high confidence that the ticket prices will not decrease for these flights before the journey begins. Therefore, if the fares drop on the travel date, Google will refund the extra amount received via Google Pay.
Currently, only tickets booked through Google Flights and departing from the United States are eligible for refunds.
Additionally, it’s essential to verify that the Price Guarantee badge is present before purchasing the ticket. If the badge is not present, a refund will not be granted, even if the ticket price increases on the travel day.
