You can now alter messages you’ve already sent.

Google is now allowing you to modify RCS messages even after they have been sent. You’ll have a 15-minute window to make changes by long-pressing the message. Though it’s unknown how many times you can change during that span, Google’s latest update fits with messaging standards established in iMessage and WhatsApp.

New Emoji Kitchen combos released.

Emoji Kitchen is a function that lets users combine suitable emoticons to create whole unique ones. While the press release focuses on just one combination – headphones and disco ball – as a tribute to the forthcoming festival season, it implies that there are certainly other combinations waiting to be discovered.

Now, you can change devices during a Google Meet call

In the near future, you will be able to switch devices while on a Google Meet call. Simply hit the Cast button to switch from your online browser to your Android phone or tablet.

Connect to your hotspot without needing the password

Google is introducing ‘instant hotspot,’ which allows you to easily connect your Android tablet or Chromebook to your phone’s hotspot without having to re-enter the password.

Widget for Google Home Favorites simplified

Public Preview users now have access to the Google Home Favourites widget on their home screen. It allows you to directly operate smart devices without having to launch the Google Home app, making operations like dimming lights or checking thermostat stats faster and easier.

Google Home Favorites now available on Wear OS

With a dedicated tile and complication on the watch face, Google Home Favourites will be available for Wear OS smartwatches, enabling users to operate smart home appliances right from their wrist.

PayPal integration now on Google Wallet for Wear OS

PayPal is now accepted by Google Wallet for payments from Wear OS smartwatch owners in Germany and the United States.

Keys for your car in digital format.

Google is introducing in digital car keys for Android users, first for “select MINI models,” and then later for some Mercedes-Benz and Polestar models. With this capability, customers may share digital keys with reliable friends and use their phones to lock, unlock, and start their cars.
